This technique is a patent of Anton Paar and is applied since many years successfully for the fast and very accurate alcohol analysis of wines, beers and distillates without prior distillation.
There are also available the new portable alcohol meters through density measurement in distillates, Snap 40 and Snap 50, that cover the required accuracy. |
